We had settled down in the living area of our holiday home and Harris was clearly thinking that, if tonight's voting for the UK's entry was going to be anything like the past 24 years, then she would prefer not to watch!
But she should have as we were almost always in top spot until almost the end when the telephone votes for Ukraine came in and suddenly we were second. It was always going to be like that, though wasn't it ....
